• Alcohol – A drink that Arthur really should learn to avoid, for the sake of his dignity.

• Embroidery and craftsmanship - His favourite hobbies.
• Tea
• Fairies, Unicorns and other mystical creatures – They are the only ones Arthur considers as real friends.
• Japan/Kiku – Someone Arthur can communicate… mostly well with.
• America/Alfred – Arthur’s previous charge who he, despite their somewhat strained relationship, still cares about.
• Cooking - Though he's bad enough at it to give someone food poisoning...

• France/Francis – His long time enemy turned part-time ally. Sometimes.

PERSONALITY:

Arthur Kirkland does try to be the perfect gentleman, but his scepticism, cynical nature, sharp-tongue and sometimes rebel attitude would lead you to believe otherwise. His complete belief in magic and mystic creatures such as fairies and unicorns has caused him to be the subject of ridicule multiple times, because no one else but him can see them. He may be a little standoffish at first glance, but he really is a kind and caring person. Arthur also has 3 older brothers and a younger brother, Sealand or Peter. He doesn’t get along with very well with the 3 older ones as he is often seen receiving curses from and being bothered by them. Peter will also annoy him frequently as he tries to be recognized by Arthur as a nation but in the end, they still care for each other to an extent.
His favourite hobbies are embroidery, crafting and listening to rock music. He is a normally calm person and there isn’t much that can phase that. But when he is annoyed, his quick-temper could lead him to do rash things, like cursing the person who has angered him. If he drinks alcohol, his personality completely changes and Arthur usually regrets it later because he’ll find himself in embarrassing situations. He also is well known to be horrible at cooking but Arthur would simply brush it off by saying that “British food is made for a sturdy man”.
His inability in expressing himself easily has made it hard for him to make friends but he does have a few who are close to him, namely Kiku, Alfred and Francis (when they’re not arguing). He also secretly a pervert, as he’s often caught reading erotic novels or magazines in public. But Arthur wouldn’t admit to that easily.[/size]
